'Huron Imp' (Samuel Burchfield, R. 1923). Seedling #117. DB, 6" (15 cm). Early bloom. Color Code-B9D. Blue-violet bitone; yellow-white beards. Parentage unknown. Burchfield 1925.

From Huron Valley Iris Gardens, 1925: HURON IMP. A magnificent blue black dwarf, 9 in., large flowers and very free, 75c.
From Carl Starker catalog 1929: Huron Imp. 6-inch. Very large flowers; dark blue, almost black; very floriferous. $1.00.
