From Kenwood Iris Gardens catalog 1933: IDDA-BIDDA (Ayres-Emig. 1933) — (M)— 7 ". This charming late dwarf has bloomed in Dr. Ayres’ garden for several years and was always commented on. It may be called a dwarf yellow plicata, and should find favor for border plantings and rock gardens, as low late varieties are scarce. It is a seedling of Montezuma. S. cream, F. semi-horizontal, pale yellow. All divisions are stippled brown, lighter in standards, and heavier in the falls. $3.00. |
