'Kissimee' (Frank A. Williams, R. 1972). Seedling #N 15. MDB, 5" (13 cm). Early bloom. Full red-violet self; blue beard. 'Red Spartan' X unnumbered red I. pumila . Williams 1973. Honorable Mention 1974.

From AIS Bulletin #209 April 1973 Introducing KISSIMEE: Full red-violet self with blue beard. Very nice. $5.00. A pumila hybrid; that is, Lilliput X pumila, and blooms between pumila and chamaeiris. It more nearly resembles pumila in style and growth habits, but is just a bit larger. Usually this type is quite sterile. Frank Williams.
