From Walter Marx Gardens catalog 1957: MIST 0' PINK. Each 1.00. A cross from Arenaria, the tiniest dwarf bearded iris species, but this is a deep rosy mauve pink. Nothing like it. 5-6 inches. |

(Rosemist X I.arenaria). AIS Color Class: R9L (red bitone). Vallette: "lavender-rose, F. darker." No information on introduction found in AIS Checklists. Notes: Qualified as an arilbred under the Lawrence system, then disenrolled when the modified Mathew system was adopted because Mathew reclassified J. arenaria as Psammiris.
