From Sass catalog, 1937: PIXY (H. P. Sass)-A dwarf plicata blend of Jubilee coloring, flowering with the tall bearded irises. Branching stems 8 to 10 inches high. This little beauty has excited much admiration. 25c
PIXIE (Sass, 1931). Unique in coloring in this section and unique also in that it blooms late in the season. Described as a miniature 'Jubilee'. $3.00. [Hill Iris and Peony Farm catalog, 1932]
