'Sparkling Eyes' (Walter Welch, R. 1953). Seedling #K-517. DB, 7" (18 cm). Early bloom. Standards white; falls blue-violet, bordered white; white beards. (( 'San Francisco' x a pumila ) x a chamaeiris ) X (Cook seedling #1546 x 'Sulina'). Welch 1954. Honorable Mention 1954; ASM 1955; BR 1956; Caparne Award 1956; Dwarf Iris Society Medal 1957.
