■(MDB) 'Storm Compass'

2014, Chancellor/Rust

'Storm Compass' (Stephanie Chancellor-Rust and Cindy Rust, R. 2013) Seedling #4-2-1. MDB, 5" (13 cm). Very early bloom and rebloom. Standards purple, fine darker texture veining; style arms yellow, purple stripe, crests finely fringed; falls purple, fine darker veining, deeper purple spot; beards light blue base and tip, yellow top layer becoming almost completely orange in throat; slight sweet fragrance. 'Creagle' X 'Gnuz Spread'. Winterberry 2014. Honorable Mention 2018.
