2000, Weiler

'Beauty Crest'. (John Weiler, R. 2000). SPEC-X (evansia), Subgenus Limniris, Section Lophiris. 24" (60 cm), Early bloom. Standards soft lavender blue, near-flat, tips reflexed slightly; style arms soft lavender blue, paler toward long-fimbriate crests; falls, ground soft lavender blue spotted darker, intensifying to medium violet at edge of signal; signals white overlaid with light yellow spots, coalescing and intensifying to yellow orange at tip of falls crest; falls edges fimbriate. 'Darjeeling' X 'Chengdu'. Clara B. Rees Iris Society 2000.
