'Blue Elegance' (H. J. Wentink, registered with KAVB, 1981). Subgenus Xiphium; Dutch Iris; Standard bright violet-purple (RHS 77A), falls Moorish-blue (RHS 93C) with darker vein, short broad orange blotch, bridge violet (RHS 86C) style-lobe methyl-violet. T.G.A. B.C.1981. 'lmperator' X 'Purple Sensation'.--KAVB. A hybrid Dutch Iris.
