'Blue Ice' Iris sophenensis x danfordiae 'BLUE ICE' (89-Q-4) 2008
A lovely pale blue with ever so slight hint of yellow on the fall. One of the first sophenensis x danfordiae hybrids to bloom.
Flowers of this hybrid are medium sized slightly greenish sea blue with greenish-yellow ridge in middle of falls and narrow white stripes surrounding it. Its style ribs are infused with yellow-green
Beautiful blue. There are touches of yellow in the veins around the narrow yellow fall ridge. Its style ribs are infused with yellow-green.
