'Butterfly Magic' (Darrell Probst, R. 2002). Seedling 88XPBXMOIL-1-8. SPEC-X (Pardancanda), 44" (112 cm), Late bloom. Red purple (RHS 77A and 78A), Falls with white signal with dark violet dotting and dashing; style arms pale, midrib purple. Seedlings involving I. dichotoma and Belamcanda chinensis . Joe Pye Weed 2002.

From Joe Pye Weed catalog, 2002: BUTTERFLY MAGIC - SPECX-1. dichotoma/Belamcanda hybrid. Probst, 44", L. Red-purple standards and falls are decorated with showy white signals which are adorned with dark violet dots and dashes. Thirty-five bud placements with six buds per placement for at least 200 blooms per stalk. $20.00
