Carl Starker} Not Registered. CAL-SIB. Standards violet; Falls purple. Natural hybrid collected in Oregon. (Probably
Iris tenax--sibirica hybrid). Listed in the Wild Garden 1976/77. 'By-A-Bee' was mistaken at one time for
'Margot Holmes' and is still in some gardens by that name. Name given by B. LeRoy Davidson.
