'Currier McEwen' (Tony Huber, R. 2002). Seedling 98-91. SPEC-X (2n=84), 39" (100 cm), Midseason late to very late bloom. Standards violet (RHS 86C to 87B) veined darker; style arms butterfly blue (106A) bordered white, with french blue (100C) midrib, crest violet (87B); falls blue (102B) aging more violet (89B), large bright yellow signal with purple veins surrounded by blue and white; standards rounded, falls ruffled; slight fragrance. Biversata seedling 95-207: ('Oriental Touch' x I. versicolor seedling) X 'Raspberry Rimmed'. Iris City 2006. Honorable Mention 2010; Award of Merit 2012.
