'Katharine Hodgkin'. (
E. B. Anderson, 1960). Subgenus Hermodactyloides, 4" (10 cm), Very early, Flowers 3 ½" in diameter; standards bluish green, veins greenish blue, falls yellowish green, blotch yellow edged greenish, veins slate-blue. Also described as grayed green (RHS 188) ground with standards and styles lined and suffused violet blue (RHS 98c&d); falls veined violet blue (96 c&d) with signal area with dark blue (103a) dashes and a raised midline of yellow-orange (13a) blended into lighter ground color of signal patch.
