1985, Wentink 'Purple Jacket' (H. J. Wentink, 1985). Standards bright plum-purple (RHS 79C), falls spectrum-violet (RHS 82A), style-lobe plum-purple (RHS 79B) with violet glow, bridge violet-purple to spectrum-violet, short Aureolin vein on Moorish-blue tinted ground. T.G.A.-B.C. 1988. --KAVB. A hybrid Dutch Iris.
