2009, McMurtrie,
'Regal' ( Alan McMurtrie, 200Y). SPEC-X, Subgenus Hermodactyloides , Reticulata hybrids (not registered with AIS). Seedling (98-NP-9) Sophenensis x Danfordiae x Çat (sxdxc) Hybrid (parentage 91-FC-7 x 88-AX-3). For more about Reticulata Irises see An indescribably gorgeous violet-blue. I’ve never quite seen anything like it before. The style arm ribs are accented blue and have a white apex. The standards range between 1/2 to 1/3 of normal width and are respectively either pointed or cusped.
