How to enter the Virtual Iris Show.

Each entry consists of 3, or 4 images taken in the garden (or greenhouse,etc.); Image (a) a side view of the flower, Image (b) a top view looking down on the flower, and Image © a view of the flower stalk. Images a,b, and c are mandatory. The fourth Image (d) is a glamour shot and is optional. Image (d) is whatever the exhibitor feels bests shows off that flower, from extreme close-ups to landscape shot of clump. You choose. Ten points (10%) are awarded for the extra image.

The images are sent to the Show chair at bobpries3@gmail.com and will be assigned an entry number. Only the entry number and the name of the cultivar/species will be visible until the judging is over.

Images should be nearly square or leave space so they can be cropped to square by the show chair. They may be of any reasonable size. Extremely large images may be reduced if greater than 10,000MB file size. Optimum size would be 300 to 600 dots per inch. Images may be photoshoped to correct for brightness or contrast on undrexposed images but should not look artificial or be distorted. Images showing the flower as it is are the goal.
