From AIS Bulletin #269 April 1988 Introducing DAINTY BIANCA (Witt) MTB, 20", M. This small white flower has no other color except the bright yellow beards. A good plant with attractive purple-based leaves. Each clump produces many bloom stalks that show the 5 to 7 flowers to advantage. Of course, the size and proportion are just right. We especially like the clean opaque whiteness that carries so well in the garden. Dainty, but not shy. Sdlg. 83-02; Unknown parentage. $12.50. Kirkland Iris Garden. |
