From AIS Bulletin #261 April 1986 Introducing LIVELY ROSE-Sdlg. 84-1, MTB, 25". Consummation gave it a slim stem, flaring form and good growth habits. From Slim Jim came its color, a lively rose with yellow beards. $12.50. Riverdale Iris Gardens.

• MTB 'Lively Rose' bloomed at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum, zone 4b, approximately, May 29 - June 9, in 2017. It has very dark Purple Based Foliage at the base of the leaves, as well as a little light color on the spathes. -- HollyJohnson2017 -04-01 - 06 Aug 2017
