1975, Welch 'Ornate Pageant' (Walter Welch, R. 1974). Seedling #B-313. MTB, 18" (46 cm), Early midseason bloom. Standards yellow; falls red-brown with yellow border; orange beard. Seedling #T-306: diploid variegata X 'Pale Amoena'. Riverdale Iris 1975. Honorable Mention 1978. See below:
