From AIS Bulletin #333 April 2004 Introducing PRETTY JAZZY. (Pretty Quirky X Real Jazzy). Riley Probst 2004 MTB 25" M. Standards are bright golden yellow leaning a bit toward old gold (RHS 7A), edges are ruffled. Inside of standards show a few oxblood dots at the base. Falls carry a beard that is marigold yellow in throat to near white at the ends. Falls have white ground with veins that are (187A) mahogany purple. It has a solid gold rim that begins as a wire at base of falls and broadens as it surrounds the outer tip of falls. Pretty Jazzy consistently has six or more buds with two open at a time. It has good garden appearance, with the floating butterfly look that is seen from a distance. Foliage is blue-green. In Missouri where winters are cold and long and summers are rainy and humid increase is 2:1; on the west coast, increase is closer to 4:1. Stalks are show bench quality, with two sometimes three branches. It is an all around appealing iris, excellent for showing off in the garden. $20.00. Miller's Manor Garden.
