| Original catalog description |
| Here is the latest entry in the chameleon-like complex of Honorabile/Sans Souci sports, this originating as a bilateral chimera on Joseph's Coat Katkamier (Katkamier 1930). Here, too, it is a lack of yellow pigment that makes the difference. Instead of the sport-parent's extravagant tie-dye color splashings of violet, red, yellow, and white on both standards and falls, you now have a well-organized amoena of pure white standards over falls lined in violet that coalesces to solid color at the tip, while a narrow band of pale lavender girds the falls. Growth is identical to that of the other members of the complex; leaf bases are purple. |
