1981, Ghio

'Big Wheel' (Joseph Ghio, R. 1981). Seedling #PS-203N. CA, height 12" (30 cm). Midseason to late bloom. Standards light raspberry; falls raspberry, deepening to near black in center. (('Grubstake' x ('Ojai' x 'Empire Grade')) x 'Sundance Eight') X 'Casa Pacifica'. Bay View Gardens 1982. Honorable Mention 1984; Mitchell Award 1986.
