'Blue Moment' ( Duane Meek, R. 1992) Seedling #P24-1-7. CA, 15" (38 cm). Late midseason bloom. Medium to dark blue, hint of violet. T. Abell blue seedling X (( I. tenax x I. innominata ) x 'Native Warrior'). D. & J. Gardens 1992. Honorable Mention 1997.

Exposure Prefers full sun for optimal performance, may still bloom in half-day shade
Water: Prefers well drained but moist good garden soil, More tolerant of dry conditions in established plants, Needs swampy conditions especially in Spring bloom season.
PH Prefers Acid solis 6.1 to 7.0, intolerant of limy soils
Fertilizer tolerant of poor soils.
