1971, Ghio

'Branciforte' (Joseph Ghio, R. 1970) Seedling #WN-1. CA, 6" (15 cm). Early bloom. Standards violet; falls red-violet with small yellow thumbprint. Several generations of line breeding stemming from original Mitchell-Craig: ('I. douglasiana' X 'I. innominata'). Bay View 1971. Honorable Mention 1972.
