'California Born' (Joseph Ghio, R. 2017) Seedling QPP-99L. CA, 14" (36 cm), Late midseason bloom. Standards white; style arms deep blue; Falls white, dime-sized blue signals with turquoise center flush, blue whiskers around signal. Seedling MP-163A4, 'Blue a Fuse' sibling X seedling NP-75F: ('Caught InThe Wind' x 'Fresh Eyes).

AIS Awards: Honorable Mention 2021; Award of Merit 2023; Sydney B. Mitchell Medal 2026.

PH Prefers Acid solis 6.1 to 7.0, intolerant of limy soils
Fertilizer tolerant of poor soils.
