Colleen Modra, R. 2005). Seedling #PC-21. CA, height 7" (18 cm). Midseason to late bloom. Standards smoky lilac-lavender, dark veining at base; style arms cream edged lavender; falls lilac lavender, lighter around signal; signals purple veined darker; flared, lightly ruffled. Parentage unknown, seed from Joe Ghio.

From Impressive Irises catalog, 2007/08: CHARLESTON SMOKE. (Modra 06) ML 18cm $14. A low growing one which has a tendency to have second flush of flowers in Nov-Dec. Stds of smokey lavender lilac, with darker veining at base. Style arms cream edged lavender. Falls lilac lavender, lighter around darker purple signal. |
