'Lightning Raid' (Joseph Ghio, R. 2010) Seedling #JP-115H3. CA, 13" (33 cm). Late bloom. Falls blackish crimson, hairline gold edge, signal ruby; style arms brassy gold, clustered. Seedling #HP-144EZ, 'Fireflow' sibling, X 'Sizzling Pitch'. Bay View 2010.

Exposure Prefers full sun for optimal performance, may still bloom in half-day shade
Water: Prefers well drained but moist good garden soil, More tolerant of dry conditions in established plants, Needs swampy conditions especially in Spring bloom season.
PH Prefers Acid solis 6.1 to 7.0, intolerant of limy soils
Fertilizer tolerant of poor soils.
