2006, Ghio

'Now Showing' (Joseph Ghio, R. 2006) Seedling #EP-225Q. CA, 14" (36 cm). Late midseason bloom. Standards and falls black crimson, gold hairline edge on all petals; style arms gold suffused red. Seedling #CP-125ruffled, sibling to 'New Blood' pod parent, X 'Epicure'. Bay View 2006.

Awaiting catalog description
According to Deborah Cole, 'Fireflow' and 'Now Showing' are extremely similar. However, the style crests on 'Fireflow' never seem anything but bright yellow; the style crests on 'Now Showing' especially in a fresh flower, seem to have a bit of red infusion, giving them a soft orange impression.
