'Santa Paula' (Lee Lenz, R. 1952). 4" (10 cm). Early bloom. Yellow bitone; standards cream; falls cream, yellow veins and bright yellow signal patch. Seedling# 6134 X unknown. Lyon 1954. Honorable Mention 1954.

From Milliken Iris Gardens catalog, 1954: SANTA PAULA (Dr. Lee W. Lenz) Innominata hybrid with standards cream, falls cream veined lightly with yellow, and a bright yellow signal patch. Very lovely and an established clump when in bloom looks like a golden halo. Very beautiful. $4.00.
