■(PCN) 'Smoky Wine'

1971, Hubley

'Smoky Wine' (Robert Hubley, R. 1971). Seedling# 65-14-C, 12" (30 cm). Midseason bloom. Standards strong grayish purple (Munsell 7.5P 5/10); falls deep gray purple (7.5 3/9) with small yellow white signal. Probably I. douglasiana X I. innominata.. Foster 1971. Honorable Mention 1974.
