'Wine And Cheese' ( Vernon Wood, R. 2001). Seedling 99-48. CA, 12" (31 cm), Early bloom. Deep wine red, 3/16" light yellow rim on all petals; style arms bright yellow. Seedling 96-20: (seedling 93-105: ('Rich Boy' x seedling 91-40: (seedling 89-7: ('Roaring Camp' x (seedling 84-64, unknown x seedling 84-25, unknown)) x 'Riva')) x seedling 93-40: ('Ohlone' x seedling 91-45: (seedling 89-7 x 'Riva'))) X unknown. Iris Gallery 2001. Honorable Mention 2004; Award of Merit 2006; Mitchell Medal 2008.
