■(SDB) 'Azure Gem'

1982, Hamblen

'Azure Gem' (Melba Hamblen, R. 1981). Seedling M26-75A. SDB, height 10" (25 cm), Early to late bloom. Lightly ruffled light blue self with pale green (RHS 122D)infusion and slightly deeper color at base of standards and hafts; medium blue violet beard. Seedling M73-22B: ('Sunny Heart' x 'Blue Canary' sibling) x 'Canary Isle') X 'Sapphire Jewel'. Mission Bell 1982. High Commendation 1981; Honorable Mention 1984; Award of Merit 1986.
