1967, Hamblen

'Blue Canary' ( Melba Hamblen, R. 1966). Seedling M63-8C., SDB, height 10" (25 cm), Midseason late bloom. Standards sulfur yellow (Wilson 1/3); Falls canary yellow (2/2); Gentian blue beard. 'Grace Note' X 'Grace Note' sibling. Mission Bell Gardens 1967. High Commendation 1966; Honorable Mention 1968; Judges Choice 1968, 1969.

Enchanting form, clear coloring and blue beards are the endearing qualities of this little darling. Standards light sulphur-yellow (Wilson 1/3). Falls canary-yellow (Wilson 2/2). Lightly ruffled, domed standards; flaring lilting falls. No. M63-8C. HC '66. Net $25.00. Missiion Bell.
