■(SDB) 'Blue Hues'

2010, Spoon

'Blue Hues' (Donald Spoon, R. 2010) Seedling 2005-392RBL/RE. SDB, 14" (36 cm), Early midseason bloom and rebloom. Standards light lavender-blue (RHS 97D), violet blue (95B/C) base and midrib; style arms light lavender-blue, light blue-green (115D) midline, pink edges; falls light lavender-blue, violet blue (95A/C) spot with light lavender-blue midline, turquoise (121A) around end of beard, green (139B) in hafts by middle of beard grading to brown (177A) at base of beard; beards white at end, white hairs tipped golden yellow in middle; darkening to yellow orange (23A) in throat; ruffled; slight spicy fragrance.
