'Blue Topaz' OGB (Jacob Sass, R. 1933). AB, DMB. Medium red and yellow bitone. 'Beatrix' X (I. pumila x Yellow seedling). Sass, 1933.

NOTE: Although registered as DMB, Blue Topaz is now considered SDB.

From Sass catalog, 1937: BLUE TOPAZ (Jacob Sass, 1933) A striking combination of blue, brown, and green of delicate blending. Pale violet blue self with blackish brown blotch on fall. Two blooms on 12 to 15-inch stems. 25c
