From Mid-America Garden catalog, 2005: BRIGHT FLASH - SOB, 14" (36 cm), Late. Bright Flash has a unique metallic finish I have yet to capture in a photo. Flowers are very round and adorned with small, precisely placed ruffles. Standards are iridescent purple with fine blue-purple veining overall. Metallic purple falls are etched with fine darker blue-purple veining around the outer one-third. The FLASH is the screaming, bright yellow-gold beards. There are one and sometimes two branches with 3-4 buds. Bright Flash has been very popular with garden visitors. The plicata heritage and full plicata siblings are of note for hybridizers. Phony is a sibling. Sdlg. IJ344C: (Time To Shine x (Tangerine Tangent x P.Black 892358)) X Rebus. $18.00. |
