(SDB) 'Dark Whimsy'

1984, Boen

'Dark Whimsy' (Donald Boen, R. 1984). Seedling 77A2-79A. SDB, height 10" (25 cm), Early to late bloom. Standards deep spectrum violet; falls velvety deep royal purple; dark violet beard; often has 4, 5 or 6 Standards and Falls, always symmetrical. 'Regards' X seedking 71A1-74B: (('Green Halo' x 'Green Spot') x ('Marinka' x ('Zing' x 'Easter Holiday'))). Baldwin's Iris 1985.
