From Mid-America Garden catalog, 2005: DIME - SOB, 15" (38 cm), Midseason. Very round, flat, light slate-blue falls remind me of a Dime. There is one thing that makes this Dime different, completely saturated dark indigo beards. Tailored standards are pale greenish-brass washed light slate-violet. Light slate-violet styles peer from between the standards. Dime and its sib Experiment are of great value in breeding highly contrasted pinks with dark blue beards. Excellent vigor and increase. Stalks have one branch and 3 buds. Makes a startling garden clump. Sdlg. J386C: (Spin Again x (Jade Jewels x Changed)) X (Shy Violet x Sigh.) $18.00. |
