'Drawing Straws' (David Miller, R. 2003). Seedling 97-2B. SDB, Height 12" (31 cm), Very early bloom. Standards light straw yellow (RHS 7B); style arms light yellow; falls darker yellow (12A), edges slightly lighter; beards white, faint blue tinge; slight musky fragrance. 'Tweety Bird' X 'Lime Mist'. Long's Gardens 2004.

From AIS Bulletin #333 April 2004 Introducing DRAWING STRAWS (David Miller) SDB 12" VE. This will catch your attention very early in the SDB season. Nicely ruffled and full bodied with light straw yellow standards and darker straw yellow falls. The falls show off the white, slightly tinged blue, beards with class. 2 to 3 buds and good growth habits make for a good bloom seaoon. Tweety Bird X Lime Mist. $15.00. Long's Gardens.
