Standards burnished greenish gold; style arms white, greenish gold rib and crest; falls pale greenish yellow, slightly darker haft; beards dark indigo; ruffled; slight sweet fragrance. Sibling to 'Dime' X seedling F227BB: ('Shy Violet' x 'Sigh'). Mid-America 2005. Honorable Mention 2008.

From Mid-America Garden catalog, 2005: EXPERIMENT - SOB, 14" (36 cm), Midseason-Late. Hybridizers try and try to get that perfect combination that gives us that special seedling. In other words, we Experiment. This Experiment is the most highly contrasted of the yellow SDBs with blue beards. Ruffled, burnished, greenish-gold flowers are paler around dark indigo blue beards.
