1953, Douglas

'Happy Thought' (Geddes Douglas, R. 1953). SDB, 10" (25 cm), Midseason bloom. Soft sulfur-yellow self. TB seedling yellow X pumila violet. Fairmount, Brentwood 1953.

NOTE: Registered as IB but considered SDB. 'Happy Thought'.

From Walter Marx Gardens catalog 1962: HAPPY THOUGHT (Douglas 1953) Each 1.50. All around perfection. Profuse blooms of soft sulphur yellow. Fragrant. 10 inches.
