(SDB) 'Herbal Essence'

1982, Dyer

'Herbal Essence' (Perry Dyer, R. 1981). Seedling# G-4. SDB, 10" (25 cm), Midseason bloom. Citron yellow, olive green spot covering 2/3rds of falls, medium blue beard tipped yellow in heart. 'Puppet' X 'Meadow Moss'. Contemporary Gardens 1982. Exhibition Certificate 1980 for best seedling at the Sooner State Iris Society Show.

From AIS Bulletin #245 April 1982 Introducing HERBAL ESSENCE (P. Dyer '82). SDB, 10" (25 cm), M. Citron yellow with clean olive-green spot covering 2/3rds of the falls. Medium blue beards. The effect is quite green! Extremely vigorous and floriferous. Sdlg. G-4: (Puppet X Meadow Moss). EC 1980. $7.50. Contemporary Gardens.
