'Leopard Print' (Thomas Johnson, R. 2006). Seedling# Tw238A. SDB, 12" (30 cm), Midseason bloom. Standards ecru, irregular violet spots; style arms pinkish rose, turquoise at rib, ecru crest; falls ecru, brassy olive hafts, irregular violet spots, white dart at end of beards merging into blue center line; beards yellow tipped white; broken color pattern; slight sweet fragrance. Marky Smith seedling# 97-10B, 'Tahoma' sibling X 'Brash'. Mid-America 2006. Honorable Mention 2008, Award of Merit 2011.

From Mid-America Garden catalog, 2006: LEOPARD PRINT - SDB, 12" (30 cm), Midseason. Here's another broken color SDB worthy of introduction and ultimately comes from Muppet Maddness which is one of the earliest but subtle SDB color breakers. Leopard Print is anything but subtle. Light lime-olive standards are spotted and mottled with dark purple spots. Falls are same color as standards but with central areas overlaid blue-violet to violet and all of fall is intermittently streaked and spotted dark purple. Hafts are medium olive. White beards are capped yellow and short white darts extend from beards. Sdlg. TW238A: Tahoma sib X Brash $18.00
