From AIS Bulletin #217 April 1975 Introducing LOVE (L. L. Harder, 1975) SDB, 11", E-M. A first! A "ruffled" white standard dwarf. Exquisite ruffling to the flared falls of this new white makes for a most attractive display in the SDB bed. Could be classed as a white self, including the beard color, except, from its pumila bloodlines, an orange color shows on the beard, but only deep in the throat, noticeable only when the fall is pulled down. It appears as a white self for garden effect. (Bright White X unknown). $7.50. Maple Tree Gardens. |
