'Pal Sam' (Joseph Gatty, R. 1986). Seedling# M57-1A. SDB, 12" (30 cm), Midseason bloom. Standards white, widely bordered imperial purple (M&P 45-H-9); falls oyster (10-B-1), straw (10-F-2) hafts, small maroon purple (56-H-2) haft area and wire rim; white to light yellow beard, yellow orange in throat. Seedling# J9-5, 'Peso' sibling, X 'Soft Air'. Keppel 1987. Honorable Mention 1989.
