'Red Carpet' (Frank A. Williams, R. 1972) Seedling# P-5. SDB, 13" (33 cm), Midseason bloom. Standards yellow-gold center with pinkish edging on lower half; falls blood red spot with edge color of Standards; white-yellow beard. Seedling# K-36: ('Lilli-Var' x 'Lilli Brownstone') X (Welch seedling# U-402 x 'Lilli-Richtone'). Williams 1974.

From AIS Bulletin #212 January 1974 Introducing RED CARPET. SDB. Standards yellowish old gold up center, with about 1/2" edge of pinkish color about halfway up, where it fades out. Falls blood red spot with edge as standards; white-yellow beard. $7.50. Frank Williams.
