From AIS Bulletin #165, April 1962. Introducing ROYAL THUMBPRINT, HC '61, (Ruth Stephenson). Love Affair X red-violet pumila. Standard dwarf exquisitely colored in deep red-purple with a velvety dark red "thumbprint" on the falls and a blue beard. Net $7.50. Melrose.
