1999, Ransom
'Satyre' (Lawrence Ransom, R. 1999). Seedling 90/247-15. SDB, 9" (23 cm), Midseason bloom. Standards chrome yellow; style arms chrome yellow, pale mauve stigma; falls cadmium yellow upper center and hafts, diffuse intermediate cream yellow halo, chrome yellow edge; beards yellow, grey white base, hairy mauve grey horn; pronounced sweet fragrance. 'Clay's Caper' X Peyrard seedling PB 88/1-1: ('Planet Iris' x pumila). Iris au Trescols 1999.
