From Mid-America Garden catalog, 2005: SEQUEL - SOB, 14" (36 cm), Midseason. Sequel is an advancement of white ground plicatas into more orchid tones rather than the more often seen blue-violet markings. Ruffled silvery white standards are widely banded with a diffuse orchid plicata band and stitching. Greenish-violet lines run up the midribs. Styles are medium lilac. Round, bright white falls have heavy darker orchid-purple plicata wash and veins over the hafts. Markings taper off and end about 1/2 way around fall edges. White beards are brushed orange and end in in a short purple dash/horn at their ends. Vigorous growth provides many stalks with 1 branch and 2 buds. Sdlg. J3538: (Black C137A x Chanted) X Rebus $15.00. |
